The Eyebrow Report

Well groomed eyebrows can really improve the overall look of your face. Seriously! Awesome brows (or the lack thereof) can totally make or break your face! This beauty service must be in the Top 5 of a Glam Girl’s “Good Beauty Habits”! So what options do we have for keeping our eyebrows flawless? Read up to find out ;-)

Waxing
Waxing is one of the more popular eyebrow grooming techniques. Hot wax is applied to unwanted hair and is removed with strips of fabric to obtain the perfect brow shape for your face. Glam Girls, be careful of double dipping salons that use not so fresh wax! Trust me! It’s a recipe for disaster. Please be skeptical of your neighborhood nail salon that offers you a quick brow fix! Proceed with caution ladies! LOL!

Threading
This procedure originated in parts of India and is a quick and cost efficient method of obtaining great eyebrows. A simple piece of thread acts as some kind of magical tool to remove unwanted hair. Yes I said magical! LOL!

This is my preferred method for brow grooming. At $8 a session I love it. I also love that my brows last up to two and a half weeks. My go to threading salon is Hair Images. Check out their website www.hairimages.com.

Tweezing
This is one method Glam-ettes that I believe should be left up to the experts. If you are unsure of how to shape your own brows, don’t risk over plucking and sporting pencil thin eyebrows! No Bueno!

The Blink Brow Bar located inside Wax Atlanta Salon should be your first stop if this is your pick! They offer a wide variety of services (tinting, trimming, tweezing) to help any Glam Girl obtain the best brow possible! Visit www.wax-atlanta.com for a full list of brow services.

So now that we have discussed our options we should NEVER be caught in these streets with eyebrows that have been sketched onto our faces with an eye-pencil! SMH! We’ve all seen HER before ladies! SCARY! LOL!
