1. 1. Do 1½ base coats – Apply the 1st layer of base coat to the upper half of the nail only and allow it to dry for one minute. Apply the 2nd layer over the entire nail. Ms. Allen swears by this method for helping polish stay on longer.
2. 2. Pile on the Polish – Believe it or not Glam-ettes, it is suggested that we get patient and wait for our nails to dry after applying two very thick coats of our favorite color!

3. Seal the Deal – For a great finishing touch on your mani, this nail expert suggests her own Power Combo! One coat of Nailtiques Formula 2 followed by a swipe of everyone’s favorite top coat Seche Vite!
4. 4. Cool it! – Speed up the drying time and help to set your nail color by immersing hands in a bowl of ice water. Brrrrr! But I’m sure we’ll try it to get that lasting mani!
